I don't know who GSE is.
I did have a bushmaster 14.5inch chrome lined heavy barrel and with a KAC RAS-2 G6 Vortex and ACOG it would shoot 1/2MOA at 100yds. It was heavy. I think a better taper is .74in under the handguards. I assumed you were talking about heavy 14.5inch barrels, but on second thought I guess you could simply mean an m4 upper with any length heavy barrel, sorry if this info is not what you were looking for. |

Try Bushmaster. They have 14.5' heaby barrels that are chrome lined and are made of 4150 steel. There have been some people who have had problems with GSE in the past (there have been some that have had good luck as well, however).

I was planning on getting a Bushy 14.5 upper, I just wish they had a heavy bbl M-4. I would like to have that cut out on the bbl, thou not needed. It looks good.

You could always get the HBAR and have it turned to the profile you want by Steve at ADCO or Kurt at KKF...
 The GSE looks nice, there was a write up on one here not too long ago that sounded favorable, if the search was up I could find it for you but..Jason |

The Colt 9021HB is availible at sawlesales.com and that would probably be far easier for $400. (You could stand to save a little money but I think that barrel isn't a bad deal for $400.)
