I have a 20" RRA upper that I want to remove the FF tube from.  I have the front sight off but the FF tube will not budge using a strap wrench.

What the trick?  Eat more Wheaties?

If I get a stuck one I apply a bit of heat to the area at the rear of the ff tube, loosens up the Locktite or whatever was used to glue it in place.

Good luck, I broke my Boa last month then my Baby Boa removed it.

Does that particular float tube have the "holes" around the edge on the front?  If so, a good barrel wrench would be your best bet.

There is 1 hole on the tube near the threaded part.  Since I don't have a vice or anything to clamp or protect the receiver, I think I'm just going to leave it on there or have a gunsmith remove it for me.

Thanks for the help.
