What is going on forward of the RIS?  Looks too small to be the KAC QD suppressor..

nope, that's exactly what it is.  Look closely, you can see the 'girdle' on the outside of the can.  It's on a shorty upper.

QS is correct... That's a shelf grade KAC M4QD can... The funky gas block is an odd one, though.

(Note: There were some special M4QD's built for "precision" applications; they had a part that extended back over the barrel and put tension on a special collar... Results were marginal.

I'm pretty sure this is not one, though.)

What's up with the tape over the EOTech? Is that just a piece of 'camo' tape, or is it glint tape, or what? Is it just shine on the stock closest to the rcvr, or is there a piece there too?

Kel (who has been in the biz too long when a piece of tape is more interesting than a cool suppressor  :)

Interesting to me that he chose the Eotech that takes "N" batteries.

Its something so secret only Spec-Ops guys know about it, and they'd have to kill you if you found out.

Is it just me or is this guy not using back up iron sights.  I know for a fact that he isnt using a rear BUIS.  All i see in the front is the IR laser.

If you squint real hard you can see from the 'hood' on his EoTech that it is an old model- Probably made before there was a 'AA' version.  (This guy was ahead of his time!)

OK- I don't know if anyone cares but FWIW I just figured out that the upper is an Arms Tech Ltd. Compak-16 upper receiver- hence the distinctive gas block.

I find it interesting that he finds it necessary to wear a flag on each arm of his utility jacket...Plus the ZE4 marking...Are those pocket flaps??? On his sleeves???

(I suppose I shouldn't be surprised...I took my car keys to Panama with me)...

Maybe that's what the flag/sleeve pockets are for...Carrying all the junk he doesn't have room for...(lol)...

Thats a good idea using a letter/number designation instead of his name.  With a name, even just a last name you can come up with a whole bunch of info just using the internet.

TheRicker,
Is Arms Tech going to offer their products for commercial sale?  I know they weren't a couple years ago but I haven't heard anything recently...

What kind of velocity are they getting out of a 9.5 inch barrel with suppressor?
