I am interested in buying a HK91. It's description from the dealer is as follows: "Bolt gap is a pristine .016, bore is mint and could pass for unfired. Nato sling, Nato light bipod, IA(1980) date code, last of the beautiful HK grey finished guns I believe also."
My questions are is it correct that the finish of the muzzle break match the Nato bipod rather than the finish of the barrel and receiver? Also is that a good bolt gap reading? Anything else I should ask about?

From my HK G3 manual, that is a good reading for the bolt gap if measured correctly (.010" to .018" ideal range). The gap will get smaller with wear.
