Hey I just bought the SPR upper from Lane ARMY INF on page 2 in complete rifles. I needed something to mount on my Armalite A2 lower with the competition trigger. I hope this is serious shit. LMK

Did you see the SF team shooting an SPR on that Sniper Competition show on OLN?

Pretty neat, for what it was.

Sorry, sir, I got stuck out of town for an extra day and I'm about 99% done with your SPR.  Here's a couple of pictures of her.

I really like how the green looks, next I'm going to try one in tan.  Just to confirm, she's configured as:

- ArmaLite M15A2NM Lower w/the ArmaLite Machined 2-Stage NM trigger
- 18" Douglas SST SPR Barrel from Compass Lake (Bead Blasted to matte finish)
- Gen II PRI SPR Tube
- ARMS #38 SPR Rail
- ARMS #40 Flip Up Rear Sight
- PRI Flip Up Rear Sight
- OPS Inc 4-Port Muzzle Brake (Bead Blasted and Permanently Attached)

Chris will also be receiving the ARMS #22 Medium Rings with a good general purpose Burris 3-9x50mm Scope with their Ballistic Plex reticle.

HKocher, yours will be going out tomorrow as well.

Thanks goes to all of your guys for your business!!

That is sweet.  So did we ever decide if that SPR brake was post-ban compliant?

I called my ATF POC and described the brake to him and he told me as long as the thing doesn't supress sound or flash, it should be okay.  Based on concerns from fellow board memebers, I tried calling him again to get something in writing, but never did receive a call back.

In lieu of hearing back from the ATF, I went ahead and called OPS Inc and it's their understanding/opinion/etc. that the 4-Port Muzzle Break is Post Ban legal - per their design and intended uses of this brake. As I mentioned, the ATF hasn't confirmed this in writing, but it's not a flash supressor and cannot be made to launch grenades without modification.

No.
The NSN is for 14.5" barrels.

A TA31 or TA11 would be more appropriate.
