I am interested in buying a pre-ban AR15.  Are there any manufacturers that I should stay away from?   i.e  Essential arms, Eagle,  DPMS

Please visit the Legal section on the General board and read through the relevent threads.  This is a very complex discussion that is covered thoroughly on a regular basis, so you can find plenty of info in this forum as well.  Just scan the topics of the last 5 pages or so.
