FEEL FREE TO POST MULTIPLE FIREARMS IN SEPARATE IMAGES, heck, you might have 4 or 5 GoTo AR's!
Lets see images and discuss our best AR's, the ones we trust 100%. Tell us why this particular AR rifle, sbr or pisol is your SHTF or DUTY GoTo.  If you're at all like me, you may be collecting a lot of different AR's.  This may be due to the current political climate, the rush of training or maybe simply because you think the AR is one of the best firearm designs ever conceived.  Personally, I could never own too many AR's and hope to continue to add to the collection.  That being said, I do have my favorites.  My GoTo, must haves.

Mine is an LMT MRP.  At 14.5'', it is short enough to wield in confined spaces and also capable of making accurate shots out to 500yrds.  It is Night Vision ready, carries a good flashlight and is equipped with an illuminated 1-4 LPVO.  At 9.5 lbs with spare batteries, spare bolt parts and a bipod, I am comfortable carrying it with a sling for extended periods of time.  Most importantly, I have encountered very few failures and it is accurate.  I try to end most range days and training sessions with a minimum of one Mag fired from this rifle to maintain my familiarity and confidence with it.  I also have a spare 10.5'' barrel which I plan to run Suppressed.  I think the MRP platform is extremely durable and relatively accurate, especially when used in conjunction with an LMT Enhanced BCG.  There is a level of sacrifice in regards to weight, but in my opinion, the pros far out weigh the cons.  I may change to an M-LOK Upper in the near future to shave a few OZ's.
MANY CHANGES HAVE COME

I start with this KAC URX4 Mod 2 w/ E3 SR16 BCG

My Colt/Geissele 11-5 HRT.  This is my first choice, day or night, GoTo AR.

My GoTo Hunting/Truck Gun.  It's a 12-5 LMT in Caliber 6.8 SPC

(Wife's 6920, My 6960, Son 2's 6720, Son 1's 6920)

My wife's gun probably has the most work into it. It started life as a 6920 Trooper that I had ADCO swap a P/W SOCOM barrel into along with a URX4. It's wearing a Primary Arms Platinum 1-8X in an ADM mount with an ALG trigger.

My 6960 is just stock with a G2S and RMR/Scalarworks combo.

Son 1 drug his through the Strike Industries catalog (no current pics because: shame). But at the end of the day, it's a 6920 even if it has a wobbly stock and cheesy FF tube.

Son 2's currently rocking URX 3.1 and Primary Arms 3x Prism. We just stuck the broom handle on for the pic.

I wouldn't have a problem grabbing any of them in an emergency. I didn't stick low mas carriers, adjustable gas blocks, monster brakes, special buffers or adamantium springs in 'em trying to chase a recoil impulse. Case after case of ammo. Dripping with lube, no lube, 800 rounds dirty, sparkling clean, 100+F or in the rain They. All. Just. Work.

We're probably going to be looking at lighter options for optics in the coming months for the SOCOM and 6720 though.

Yeah I really like it too.  Simplicity is the key to this one I believe. There was a guy who posted different SBR's a page or two ago, all about the same as this.  Also very nice.

How high does the spacer put the M4s with the G mount? Are longer screws needed? Thinking about doing something similar with mine.

@JinNTonic

The height comes out to 1.875". I was wanting more like 1.70, but I'm going to give this a shot. I had to trim the heads down on a couple of M5x0.8 x 22mm screws.

ETA: I'd like to see G or someone that would make a spacer so you could go from co-witness to lower 1/3. I'm just over an 1/8" higher than perfection, IMO.

Maybe. I have a Larue mount that is 1.725, but I wanted to use the G mount with this rifle. The spacer I need is .16". Anyone want to make one for me? Please!

ETA: the spacer that comes with the AP mount is 9mm.

Tavor SAR (many many rounds without a single hiccup) I do like ARs and have used many that are reliable, but this little rig is 1/2" shorter than a 10.5" AR and still fits 16" ballistics in a backpack for those times you don't want a visual presence. FDE variety to match interior of my pickup as well.
Midwest extended rail, with front light mount (on 11.5" LMT currently)
Midwest ejection port cover for suppressor use
Midwest riser, topped with TA01-M4A1 Acog of course
Geissele trigger
Surefire flash hider, being swapped for a Dead Air soon, as my Nomad will have minimal back pressure for this one
Vickers sling (on 11.5" LMT currently)

Apparently only pic of my SCAR H at this time. Will grab better one and replace, but imagine a vickers sling on it and Harris bipod when I'm using the 20" barrel.
20" barrel gets paired with a SWFA SS 4-15 mil/mil on a BOBRO mount, and holds MOA easily with 155 grn Hornady ELD handloads. The 16" barrel gets the TA11 Acog, and Dead Air brake for Nomad. Have considered a 5.56 conversion for it as they're solid, but the LMT and Tavor are holding down the tiny round fort so far. LMT pic will get added after some more rounds. It ain't a go to unless it passes my 2k round count at the very least!

Hows that KAC Can?  Worth buying?  I have Warcomps on my rigs so I thinking of a SF SOCOM 2 RC.  Idid just switch out my RECCE Rifle to a KAC w/ Kac FH.  I'm just not sure about adding $400 in cost to an already expensive $800 Can over one FH...Do you have any experience to say the KAC Can is significantly better than a SOCOM 2 RC?

I believe that’s the griffin m4sd, basically a clone of the NT4.
I have the griffin sdk i got for a steal, its pretty nice and convenient to use A2 fh for mounts

As already stated, its a Griffin M4SD II. Which is very nice and mounts to any in-spec A2 flash hider which are around 15 bucks a piece. I do not have any experience with the 5.56 NT4. I can say the Socom RC and the M4SD II are basically the same sound to the ear though. The Socom being a bit shorter in OAL. I dont think I have heard anyone complain about their NT4 though. Not sure if you're talking about SB2 or RC2 either, but I only have the RC 1.

So, now that I hit 1000 rounds I suppose I can post My ALL DDC Geissele. I guess I'll call this My Back Up RECCE Rifle.  Really, I own it because it looks cool...
LOWER- Geissele Super Duty w/ Ultra Duty LPK and SSA-E
UPPER- 14-5 URGI w/ DDC Super Duty Receiver (I did have one FTExtract in the first mag, (IDK, it was very cold outside) but I changed the BCG to a Hard Chrome LMT Carrier w/ COLT Bolt- after swapping the BCG I have yet to have a single failure. *I have a Geissele REBCG and may run it in this Rifle but I am not yet 100% confident with it's abilities.  It's in one of my 11-5's, if I hit 1000 w/ no failures I think about installing it in this Geissele Unicorn Rifle, but, for no other reason than to make this an ALL GEISSELE Rifle.  As of now, I am partial to the Hard Chrome LMT
OPTICS- Vortex Razor w/ SOPMOD Mount and Geissele BUIS

*I am really digging these Dog Leg SL's.  I would recommend them for any build other than when running a PDW Stock or Brace

Right place at the right time My Friend.  LMT Sold a hundred or so when they completed one of Their latest Police Contracts.  Dutch Police, if I remember correctly.  They were sold out by the time I decided to buy a few more, 2 hours later...   I did happen to purchased 2 though.  Still have one NIB.  I really kick myself for not having bought 10.  The only reason I did not is because I am partial to LMT Enhanced Carriers.  I would LOVE TO FIND an LMT Hard Chrome Enhanced Carrier.

Yes, I believe Hard Chrome is My favorite flavor of BCG!  I think they clean even easier than NiB...

This is my only one so I guess that makes it my go to.

For HD I'd be more likely to go for my Glock 19 but for SHTF or even hunting (I may take this along with my bow on my next boar hunt) this is it

LWRCi M6IC DI, Magpul SL-S stock and SL grip. EOTech 518 optic. CA compliant with the Juggernaut Hellfighter mag release system.

I'm too scared to weigh it

Weight doesn't concern me too bad for an HD blaster. If I decide to grab this one for hunting, I'll have to take the laser and light off. I usually don't have to hike too far unless I'm hunting game lands. Also have a tripod in the works.

I have a different go to rifle that addresses weight constraints.
