Thank you, that will help. However there was one on ar15.com that was pretty in depth and my saved link no longer works to it. I am trying to figure out what happened to that one. This was the address: http://www.ar15.com/content/legal/serialNumberList.html

This post in the AR15.com guide shows the below image, but when I click the menu I only Firearms News, Videos and Range Finder.
