Originally Posted By Brackeen22: Why do you debate selling it? View Quote Nothing to do with the barrel itself. I’m optic poor at the moment because I sold one Razor to jump on a KAC CQB upper and my other Razor for a KAC QDC can so this 12.5 that is my mini-recce doesn’t have any glass. Plus as much as I like the FCD handguard, I do have a slight preference for 7 sided MLOK rails so if you put those two things together, I’ve debated listing the whole upper. But it handles really well... |

A5H1 it works with al of the above suppressed and unsuppressed.. Maybe I’m wrong and it isn’t the suppressor optimizes barrel? I bought it new unopened and I thought the guy linked to the specs but I just went and found the post. He just copied and pasted them He claimed it to be a .063 gas port and the pasted specs he provided said “optimised for suppressor use” or something like that. So it’s possible he was wrong and I have the .068 gas port. Still love it. |

Guess the only thing to do is another 12.5 upper now. My hands are tied! |

Says in stock for me? I just ordered one of their 16" barrels a couple weeks ago, shipped real quick. Now if only my fucking mk5 would ship...going on 15 days. |

I saw out of stock. I know the wilsons are good but I'm not sure i want a stainless barrel for this build. They do seem to come back in frequently though. I thought about trying a barrel designed for suppressor use. May just end up picking up a cheap 16"er or something and turning it down to 11.3 myself.

I have a 16” PRI SPR profile barrel that’s marked “PRI 1/8 1/17” under the handguard near the chamber, and “1/8D” near the muzzle. Does that mean it’s a Douglass blank?

How many of you use MOA and how many use MIL? I'm going to join the NX8 gang and I'm trying to decide. I'm used to MOA but mil seems worth learning.

3.44 MOA per MIL... .1 mill = about 1/3 MOA... it’s all mental math man... at the end of the day pick what’s easiest for you to calculate on the fly or is easier for you to understand. Dope cards are a thing for a reason... MOA is a tad more precise on the surface but neither are bad

View Quote I order my NX8s directly through Nightforce for the military discount. I prefer MOA, but there is always a lead time for each. Last time, MOA was shorter lead time, so that is what I got. Across the board, I am an MOA guy |

EDIT: On the other hand it also looks like it pushes the thick stadia lines out further from the center (kinda like the razor 1-10x).... On my ATACR the horizontal lines only go to 5 before it hits the thick stadia. On that new reticle it looks like it goes to 10. About twice as wide of a thin center reticle. |
