I have always thought a bcg was a bcg...

So, why would I pay $10 more for a bcm mpi bcg rather than a rra bcg?

Because the BCM BCG is MPI and HPT.

It is just an extra level of inspection that you don't get with RRA.

One is service grade and the other is civilian grade, that simple.

Also BCM gas keys are properly staked.

I noticed that my rra bcg's are "staked"... if you can call some indentations on top of the bcg staking...

I will go with the bcm

NONE! as there never was a "National Match" BCG or a "National Match" M16  marketing hype

You get to pay extra for sub-standard.

If your talking about the Young's NM BCG then it's only the best BCG on the market if I had to pick one as best, it goes through the same testing as a service grade BCG but is built to tighter tolerances thus making it more accurate of competition rifles using SS match barrels and such.

Another one of you Mil-Spec is all and mighty when there is better stuff to be had.

Can you prove it that the Young BCG is better?  tighter groups?  They are about as useful as spinners on dubs...again "national match" on AR products is just pure marketing BS. There were never NM specs on an M16.
