Went shooting today, and shot a buddy's bushy dissipator, and noticed his safety is smooth as silk, Very easy to switch on and off.

My Colt 6721's safety is gritty in comparison , and, has a tendency to get stiff between safe and fire. It's probably not a big deal, but I'd like to know what to do about it. Do I need a new plunger or spring? Thanks in advance!

Try trimming your spring a hair...works every time.

What about a selector that has too much slop? My Armalite AR10 selector feels like it doesn't even have a detent in it.
