Is the trigger guard on an AR-15 suppose to be a little lose?

The roll pin should hold it tight.

Make sure you support the frame ears when driving the roll pin in or out....

better to just tighten the pin with a narrow tapered punch or a sharpened nail ..

You get a little movement they dont lock in real tight.Plastic ones more and metal ones way less.
