I going to get a new upper in the near future, and price wise cmmg and saber are in the same ball park from what I've seen.  From an accuracy and reliability point of view, do you guys think one is better then the other ?

I thought the Sabres were more expensive.

i have a cmmg 20" upper that is accurate and reliable. It has been as accurate and reliable as my old duty m16

Go with Sabre.

Toss a coin, they both appear to be very high quality.

I've had a 10.3" CMMG and loved it, and am planning on buying a lightweight 14.5" upper in the near future from them.

But i'd take a Sabre too.

Sabre is a defense contractor that makes some AR's on the side. They make all the barrels for the mini-gun and other machine gun barrels.  This made the decision easy for me.  I got a Sabre when I decided I needed a mini.  I don't have a CMMG but comparing my Sabre to my Bushmaster the Sabre was obviously more nicely made.

I like my sabre barrels very much.
