Yes, Barrett makes a full auto lower receiver. Also the uppers can be placed on standard selective fire lower receivers. I have fired numerous times full auto 68SPC. Just the Barrett. Controlability is fine. More recoil than the 5.56 but far less than an AK. The 6.8 is very much an intermediate cartridge capable of very controllable fully automatic fire.

I shot a LMT full auto at the LMO shoot after SHOT Show and it was awesome. I found it to have much less muzzle rise than an identical gun in 5.56mm. More of just a push with all the bullets in a very tight beaten zone downrange.

6.8 is much more controllable in FA than any 7.62 x 51 I've shot. The shorter barreled weapons take a couple of bursts to get familiarization under way, but once that's done it's plain sailing. The longer barreled guns on bipods are extremely effective light support weapons with 3 or 5 round bursts all on target at 200 meters.

I shot a bunch of full auto 6.8 when I worked at Barrett. We were testing a 6.8 suppressor. The brake on the Barrett 6.8 is pretty effective on full auto.
