New Larue 7.0 New Larue Ampoint mount. The lens cover swings free of the rear sight. Nice stuff

Sweet CQBR. Kudos on the Butterfly latched VLTOR and the lower with the magic third selector position. That thing is just screaming for a SF ScoutLight... Any reason you picked the LMT BUIS over the LaRue? |

Looks a lot like the build I am about to start. Sadly, mine won't have a go-fast switch.
 Maybe some day...Mine will be an LMT lower, LMT 10.5" upper with LaRue 7.0, LMT BUIS, MIAD, LMT SOPMOD, Aimpoint M3 with LaRue cantilever mount, Surefire M900. Hopefully within the year it will also be hosting a Gemtech can.

In all honesty, I had already built the rifle in my head before I saw the thread about the MK18 Mod 0. When I saw that NSW was adopting a rifle identical to what I had in mind, I said to myself "well that makes sense". I'm building it for CQB/Home Defense so I can see why guys who clear buildings and jump in and out of cars all the time want a short AR built for up close. |
