What's your Favorite Load for your Varmint or Target AR??

Handload and/or Factory Load.

Mine pet load is:

Sierra 63 gr.  Semi-Point  #1370
24.5 grs.  AA2230
CCI BR-4 Primer
Winchester Brass
COL:   2.275"

This recipe is super accurate in my Colt MTC H-Bar II  w/1:9 twist & my DPMS  1:9 Varmint Driller.

Also shoots pretty good in my Rem. 700 LV SF  1:12 twist

Sierra 69gr. Match King
25.0 (or 25.5 can't remember) Varget
Winchester Small Rifle Primer
Brass:  Whatever I have found
COL:  Whatever spec is

Shot out of my JP/Voigt/Colt rifle with an Oly Arms SS 1:8 barrel, 18" w/ JP-Cooley Comp I'm about .25 MOA of the bench at 100 yards and sub-MOA out to at least 500 yards (the farthest I've shot with it).  The load just happens to be listed in the Sierra manual as "Most Accurate Load" for .223 out of an AR.  Go figure.

The nice part is that the powder and bullets are cheap(er) and are available in bulk quantities.  Brass.  I have a roll sizer that feeds brass from my Dillon 1050 to make any corrections and military crimped primer pockets are no problem either thanks to Dillon.  I load everything either on my old XL650 or now on my second RL1050 that splits time between .223 and .40 S&W (the primary 1050 loads only .38 Super).

It's an awesome, awesome load!

A great cheap load is 55gr. FMJ's (Winchester's aren't bad at all) with either W748 or H335 (they're the same).  Great for plinkin' and out of my competition rifle, it's like .5-.6 MOA.  For the record, this is my USPSA/IMGA 3-Gun/teaching rifle and gets the crap beat out of on a daily basis (when I'm at home instead of being stuck in Korea).
