is there a price difference between .223 and 5.56?

Yes. 5.56 is 5.56 , .223 is .223.

Check out the ammo oracle, in the ammo section. It tells the diff. and it also has pricing from around the net from vendors.

not tryin to be smart, but its easier to show ya the info then try and explain it.

Under the AMMO section, they have the pricing broken down between .223 and 5.56 55gr, 62gr, 75gr & 77gr between vendors and distributors. Pricing fluctuates there isnt jus ONE set price between them. Jus look at the AMMO pricing in the AMMO section. Im pretty sure it will answer all your questions.

in general, depending on brand, yes, there is a price difference--5.56 usually costs more
