"L" are made by LAR MFG. The examples I have/ have seen appear to have better machining and finish over the "BFI". Dunno who makes the latter, but neither match the machining/finish of my recent production Stags... |

older one's start with L back when bushmaster was having someone else make them
the newer one start with BFI, now that bushmaster makes them for themselves |
