Wow, that looks great... Any comment on the reliability of that DPMS unit? I'm a bit leery of .308 AR's...

Well, I tested an earlier Jet on a bolt action, and it was much louder than the other .308 cans I tested.
But there is some chance that they have since improved it. But as far as I know Jet does not do sound testing as part of their R&D program. |

The L-W piston .308 based on the LR-308 shot 400 rounds on Saturday at the L-W demo shoot without a hiccup. ALL WITH A JET CAN ON.
It was awesome, really quiet and with less kick than a .223.

Were there others at the range shooting?
That is a really nice looking rifle. I hope the piston system does well in .308. I would love to see a long term reliability test compared to an AR-10. |
