Hi!

I am buying a lefthanded upper soon, and i was wondering if one could just mount the fire selector from the left side of the weapon to the right side (so if you were holding the pistol grip with your left hand your thumb would be flicking the switch).

Olympic Arms makes what you are looking for. It's not on the website, you will need to call.

No, on the selector lever there are recessed detents for the "safe" and "fire" positions. With a regular one, they are only on the right-handed side.

The Olympic one has them on the left and right handed side, so it can be switched around.

The pic is of an ambi selector, but you get the idea. Notice how the detents are only on one side.
