Generally, it's pretty easy if you make sure to push them the right direction.  YMMV.

Take a 3/32" nail set and a decent hammer (say 16-ounce or so) to drive the taper pins out. They'll drive out left to right, which is the same direction that the takedown pins pull out. Support the front sight base on either a board, or place a 4mm socket directly under each pin as you drive them out. The pins will go right into the socket.

If you plan on removing sight post a lot the Brownells Bench Block is a great tool to have.
