How would you recommend I go about doing this?  What have you guys used to apply the paint, what do you use for the color, etc?  I want to do it right and permanent, but I don't want to screw it up either!  Thanks for the help guys.

If you don't have a china marker, borrow one of your kid's crayons and follow the steps outlined above.  It's not permanent either but will last a goodly time.

For somthing permanent, Brownells sells "Lacquer - Stiks"

I have used them on my FAL and they seem to do good.

With the crayloa, i'm assumigng you use the same method as was used in the link above, does the rubbing alcohol remove the excess crayola?

How hard would it be to use a detail model paintbrush with red and white paint to fill in the letters?
