Yea, I know, I am going to call Clot up on Monday to get the specs of this SP1.

I'll go out on a limb and guess that it will have the following:

slabside lower
20" 1/12 barrel
A1 furniture and sights
3-prong flash hider
slickside upper (no forward assist or shell deflector)

144,xxx is not 1969,

69 would be more like 14,xxx

Typo maybe?

144,xxx would be more like 1981

My fault, the "1" is for SP1

From the AR15 library of information:
1969 SP14000-SP14653

My serial number is between SP14000 and SP14653

Mine is S/N 20XXX  and built in 73 and has a birdcage F/S.


ETA:  SP360200 and below are preban, but you can call and get build year. 800-962-2053

I bought 129xxx in 1980 and it was a R6000.

slabside

front screw for take down, not pushpin.

not cut for sear

full moon carrier shortened from M16 ( you can see cut marks) no teeth for BA.

20 inch pencil barrel with triangular HGs, bayo, full birdcage with lockwasher.

A1 Stock with trapdoor.

Came with 2 2 round magazines with removable 5 shot blocks. box and manual.

Should have a birdcage flash suppressor (A1), not a 3-prong.
