Getting Colt AR 6920 with Removable Handle. First AR type with removable handle that I will own.
Very comfortable with (dare I say) regular A2 carry handle and sights.

Would appreciated advice, pros/cons for holding zero after removing and reinstalling.
Advice on any changes to usual zero advice when zeroing.

Mark/index before removing?
Expect change in windage if not exactly torqued when reinstalled?
Etc?

TIA

Just put it back on with the forward part of the handle even with the very end of the flat-top towards the front sight and it will hold a zero just fine.

Basically, put an index mark to mark the position they're in while tight and try to repeat that when putting it back on. That should keep you pretty much zeroed.
