No way.  Just what I need, a 4 foot long magazine.  Shit, at my height, I could stand up and use the mag as a defacto uni-pod.  I expect this type of  bologna from USA mag co.

Stupid, that much money for 15 extra rounds.I like DPMS but they come out with some of the stupidest shit.Look at the seam where they joined the two thirty rounders, looks like you could just snap it off.90 bucks will buy several good 30 round mags.

How is that possibly worth 90 bucks?  As was noted earlier that weld looks extremely cheap, and regardless its basically just two 30 rounders welded together.  60 maybe, and that's stretching it a lot, but no way I'd pay 90 for that.

In my early AR days, I bought some POS, welded in the middle 45-50 round mag.  I'm not shitting you when I say that the POS was in the trash no more than an hour after I got home.  Hey, but I did get an extra floorplate and green mag follower for my $30 investment

I read all the posts before clicking on the link......I was expecting it to be bad based on the comments, but WOW!!  That thing looks horrible!!

Maybe the extra costs is due to the extra long spring???  They say it used standard floor plates and followers, but no mention of the spring.

And the weld between the two.........hmmmm, yeah....I don't even know what to say about that.

Now I am the person who will hit you in the face for talking bad about DPMS, but, I just hit myself in the face, and then kicked myself when I was down

not worth $90, I wouldnt buy it. looks like jam city to me.

btw:::: it was a strange feeling, but I liked it.

There are a lot of 3 gun shooters who may be interested.  A lot of us have 20 rd mags for getting low, 30 rd (default mag), 40 rd mags to be used when they can save a standing reload, and a beta mag for matches like the MGM.

Reliable 40 rounders (Sterlings?) are relatively scarce, so I do see a market for these DPMS mags.  They are not meant for Seal Team Six, but may be just the ticket at certain matches.  Thanks DPMS!

There is a guy who goes by Bustoff on subguns.com that will make you a super mag out of however many mags you would like to put together.  He built me a 55 rounder for my M11 submachinegun that runs like a top.  He tig welded 2 30 round mags together.  I would probably get him to build me one for my M-16 if I was so inclined.

Now if they just put little wheels at the bottom you could roll out your AR like an artillery piece!
