This rifle is intended to fill the gap between my 20" AR10A4 with TA11C and 16" Carbine with EoTech. My optics choices are the TA31 or TA11C, on a LaRue mount.

I don’t think I want a 20” for this build, so that narrows it to either and 18” or 16” mid-length.  I seem to have missed the SPR/Recce era, so I really don’t know much about the available barrel options.

This rifle is not intended to have uber accuracy, and reliability is far more important than a few fractions of an MOA.  What barrels should I be looking at for this type of rifle?
