my first rifle is finished with matte black gunkote.

I feel that it is too shiny. almost glossy.

tommorow my norrels will make it to my door and i am wondering if there would be any adverse affects when coating a rifle in norrels that has once been covered in gunkote.

should i leave well enough alone? or just coat the damn thing and be the guinea pig and post results?

Ive never personally put Moly over gunkote but as long as you prep well you shouldnt have any problems.
