In anyones experience what mags have you found to work and function flawlessly in any lower? Also, have any of you hand loaded mags stored long term and then taken them out shooting and found the springs to be still strong and feeding properly?

mag springs wear out by actually using the spring, not by keeping them loaded with ammo.

Interesting...well thats good to know.   How about brands of mags feeding well? I've heard that SA80 brit mags feed great...but I dont know, never tried them

I think everyone will agree that only USGI mags are overall the best mags. Orlite sells those real cool looking waffle-type mags, but they too have feeding problems. I bought a few of them and sold them  ASAP so I could get more USGI mags.

GI magazines + chrome-silicon alloy springs = happiness

what the others have said.
i personally like usgi 20rd+wolff spring+alloy follower

also have never had problems with my range mags
30rd engl.steel mag+wolf spring+pink magpul followers
