I know this has been posted befor, but I can not find it with the search function.

I've heard conflicting stories about cleaning the barrel after every shot for the first 10-30 rounds.

Does anyone have a link?

I asked somewhat of a simular question no long ago......I just bought a Stag M-4 upper and was wondering if there was some special break-in procedure.

The overall consensus was that if its chrome lined there is nothing special just shoot and "clean well after use"... hope

FYI, I just shot today for the first time a White Oak Armament/Wilson SS 1-7 and it stopped picking up copper after six rounds.

It is also a hammer, easily 3/4 MOA at all distances.  It is certainly better than I can hold.
