I know DPMS ar-15's arent the favorite of most but does anyone have the .308's and are they worth a poo? I want to build a .308 semi auto long range rifle next and am debating between AR style or a Fal build.

Been sorta lurking over there the past few weeks and have yet to see anyone with a DPMS 308

I have a DPMS Panther Upper in .223 on a Bushy lower.  24" SS BB with an Ironstone adj stock and its my favorite gun ever as its a damn tack driver.  If the .308 is ANYTHING like the .223 then you should have no issuses with it.  I dont know if that helps or not.
