phantom 5C2 with a crush washer installed...........I am going to pin/weld it today and I think I havent "crushed" it enough. I need to be sure first, I didnt want to strip the threads by trying to over-tighten the dang thing thank you for your contributions. Stick.......... you there buddy?

I think all you need to do is install a blind pin?? At least that is all I did. The ports need to line up like so...

just make sure your ports are lined up.



the "crush" will varry from rifle to rifle as the threads are not all exactly the same

I need a side view guys, I right now I have it lined up perfect but is the crush washer need to be cranked on really hard? right now it is not even crushed really, when I threaded it on and it stopped, it only needed to be turned but only 1/4 to maybe 1/2 to be TDC.

this is what I mean Stick................ I think but I could be wrong, turn it more but maybe it wont go all the way to be TDC on the next way round. does it need to be more crushed?

It can go either way. Works either way. Most prefer it the other way. I wasn't paying attention when I put mine on Been over 1000 rds since I installed it and it hasn't fell off yet.
