okay,   a while back we found out who was sleeping with their black rifles.....so keeping this

in mind and not forgetting gunny hartman's  famous admonition in " full metal jacket"........

well we just had to find out   -     what's HER name ??????   and while we're at it .....is there

any significance to that name ????                                             now since i started this

rather bizzarre thread ,  i'll step up to bat first.

     "annie"    she's a 20" bushie A2 with a full heavy, fluted 4150 bbl.  she's got a MIAD grip ,

and  very early non-symetrical A2 hand guards.......shoots waaay better than i can ;  a real

  sweetie !!

    "  sheila "   she's a CAR / XM177  11.5" piece with a MIAD grip ,  A1 upper ,  and fixed A1

buttstock .  she's a beater for sure ,  but is more accurate than she should be ;  almost all

  bushie......a real wild child !!!!!

love to post some pictures of this harem ,   but i keep spending all my digital camera

money on ammo and AR15 parts !!!!

I lead such a boring, unimaginative life

I named my skunk carbine "Skunk Carbine"
I named my Colt M4 "Colt M4"
I named my Rock River M4 "Rock River M4"
I named my Rock River trunk gun "Trunk Gun"
I named my 6920 "6920"
I named my skunk rifle "Skunk Rifle"
Etc etc etc...

Sadly, this lack of creativity transcends the rifle collection:

I named my USP45 "USP45"
I named my wife's USP40 "USP40"
I named my Glock 19 "G19"
I named my Glock 26 "G26"
Etc etc etc...

The only creativity I've ever expressed was with my two identically configured M4 test mules. They are named 'Click' and 'Clack'. Here they are-can you tell which one is which?

Oh yeah, my wife's Bushmaster Lady is named "My Wife's Carbon 15"

Mine are Prisoners, and I'm the Warden.  They go by SN's, they have no names.  Every once in a while you might here them bark their birth names out loud in their sleep, or when their mad.  Normally they scream these names; BANG, or BAM.  One day I'll put a muzzle on them, that way all they can whisper is pffft...

True Story--My wife (who does not especially like or know anything about guns) proclaimed that my first build (16" mid) was "scary looking."  She decided that it needed a cute name.  She named my gun "Piglet."  Alas, I have a scary looking rifle with a cute name.  BTW Piglet is AWESOME.  The little bastard goes bang every time I pull the trigger.

"Eugene"
(RRA 20" A4, green furniture)
also sometimes referred to as "that green rifle" when I'm in a hurry.

(all my "first of this kind" guns are named for the inventor... my first 1911 is "John Moses", first Walther is "Carl", etc.)
