Tell me about them.  Thoughts, quality concerns etc etc.  Got a chance to pick up a couple lowers and parts kits pretty reasonably priced...

Forged lowers?

Thanks for any info.

I own a DPMS superbull.  It is more accurate than I am.  Quality is very good to excellent.  Never any malfunctions with the rifle w/ over 3k rds run through it.

I've used DPMS lpk's in my builds.  No complaints.  I will use them again.

why is that.

They're to spec ans the hammer works with both 5.56 and 9mm

I have experience with a Classic Sixteen and two M4 types. All three were EXCELLENT.

One of mine is a DPMS...
I like it as much as my RR or my old OLY that I got rid of years ago.

I have a full DPMS  w/ 16 stainles bull barrel.

LOVE IT.
ACURATE AS HELL.

No issues what so ever, ever..

well if they work for both 5.56 and 9mm thats great.

but when i used the lpk's they have not been up to par fit or finish. some might have better luck then me though.

although when it comes to firearm parts i tend to sway away from luck parts

I have several DPMS complete rifles, uppers, lowers, and I've ordered/used various and sundry parts from them - no problems out of any of them so far.  YMMV.

We have it every week or two... I think it's a site requirement, like the weekly "Which is better - Glock or XD?" threads.

Their .308 semi-auto is miles ahead of the AR-10 in reliability.  And much less $$ also.

sorry for the bad luck on the parts. I am on my third DPMS LPK and all three are running great. I really like that non-knotched hammer.

The latest issue of Gun Tests (you know, the B&W one that doesn't accept any advertising) just tested .308s from Armalite, Bushmaster, & DPMS head-to-head and chose the DPMS over the other two - interesting read.
