I think this probably belongs in the Ammo forum but I'm taggin it anyway! I want to know the deal on this stuff too as it ia prices quite nice

Isn't this the underpowered stuff the Brit's manufactured for the L85 rifles?

There is a looooong thread about the Radway Green ammo in the Ammo forum,I have'nt had any problems with it but a couple people did.......................Yes,I'll buy more

I think it is the underpowered stuff. I would like to buy some just to try it out, but not for $150 for 900 rounds.

I had some short stroking in my 20" A2 with it but I also did not have the spring greased at the time. In my 16" lightweight carbine it runs like gangbusters.

From my experiences, as long as it has a relatively recent headstamp date, it is normal ammo.
The reports that I've read about the underpowered stuff came from headstamps dated 92 or before. I have shot alot of this ammo with 97 and later headstamp dates, and it was fine, and full power. |
