UPS just dropped my bushmaster m4 upper off, I guess I was lucky I only waited 4 weeks. I noticed this thing was very oily. Should I clean it with break free before I take it out this weekend or just go with it? Thanks again for all the advice.

Nice carbine.

So why did you go with the post ban style with Izzy brake?

How do you plan on attaching a bayonet w/o a bayonet lug?

I would run a patch or 2 down the bore with some clp then a couple of dry patches before you shoot it. I wouldnt say it is absoluty necesary but it wouldnt hurt.

Congratulations, and "only" four weeks wait from them is pretty good.

I always clean any firearm I've received, before I shoot it. Not only to make sure to get any crap out that shouldn't be there, but also to inspect it for defects and proper function.

I'm surprised it took so long for someone to say this.
Good Advice.
