Can I shoot 55gr M193 ammo on 1-7 twist barrels? Will there be any lost in accuracy past 100 yards?

To be honest I've noticed M193 groups better than M855 out of a M16A2

I shoot M193 out of my 20" 1/7 Colt barrel at 200 yds. with very exceptable accuracy.  You should be fine, although you can get better accuarcy out of a 1/7 barrel by experimanting and maybe going to a heavier bullet.

I shoot 55gr out of my 20" 1/7 colt, I have noticed that the heavier stuff is slightly a tighter group at 100yds, but the 55gr is fine, I shoot q3131a and c&b ss109, wolf also does good and the best groups I've gotten with 55gr is with black hills blue box

yes you can shoot 55's in a 1:7.  No there won't be any accuracy lost beyond 100yds.

I shoot lots of real LC M193/855 thru 1:7 bbls.  M193 actually shoots better groups than M855 even at + 200 yds.

we use 55's for the youth team for training at 100 no problems.  When we shoot 300M we go to a 69 or 75.  the 55's dont buck the wind as well.    At 100 you wont have a problem.  we have shot the 55's at 300 ( guatemala  mfg  kind of a round nose bullet)  it was acurate but could not buck the 10-35 mph winds that day very well.
