WHERE CAN I GET CHEAP MILITARY 5.56 M193 ROUNDS???? I WANT 1000 fmj/hp RNDS FOR MY AR15. if i cant find any good deals on m193 ammo, i plan to shoot .223 so should i just get my upper in .223 instead of 5.56? or should i just buy a 5.56 upper and shoot .223?

Actually he is sold out of boxed Xm193. He has XM193PD, but I wouldn't buy that shit.

well i found some federal xm193, made by LC, with the nato cross on them! and whats so strange is, the pawn shop i found them at has had them there for a long time. no ar shooters in this town i guess. i am going every paycheck and getting all he has, for 4.25 a box of 20.

Well do you want M193 (which is FMJ) or do you want HP (or more likley OTM)?


i plan to shoot .223 so should i just get my upper in .223 instead of 5.56?

If you plan on shooting '.223' why are you asking about military M193?  If you want to get/shoot M193 then get the proper chamber.  The only reason to ever get a .223 chamber is if you are into precision shooting (as in DCM competition or long range varmint shooting).  The rest are better served with the M16 chambered AR-15s.
