Well, now that I've got my carbine complete, I'm looking at getting an upper for varminting.  I'm not sure where to start with this and don't know what I want/need to get to accomplish this so could ya'll put up some pics with your setups so I can get an idea of what I'm looking for.  Thanks!

Smokin' pics everyone.  When looking to put together a varminter what should I look for?  I was planning on using my RRA lower that has a 6 position telestock, but I've heard this is not a good thing to do.  Also, what barrel length should I go with, 20" or 24"?  Is fluting it a good idea?  I'm a newb when it comes to this type of rifle, so ya'll must learn me

First, I would go with an A2 stock, it's hard enough to get a good consistent cheek weld with a scoped AR, even harder with a collapsible that wobbles.

As for barrel length and profile, that's a little more subjective, some claim that the 24" gives the an advantage on longer shots, and I tend to agree.
Fluted barrels are a little stiffer, and tend to "whip" less.
One big question regarding barrles is twist rate, depending on what ammo you are going to shoot will have a lot to do with how much/little you want.
Generally, the tighter the twist, the heavier the bullet it will stablize.

You will find Zero wobble in a Magpul 93A

I'll take it ANY day over an A2 stock
