My dad and I are working on removing the thread protector from my ADCO purchased RRA upper.  We have ground the pin away and can see the threads thru the hole.   Are the threads right=tight, left=loose?

Also, we've cranked on it pretty hard with pliers with no budge.   Can we warp the barrel this way?

I've e-mailed ADCO for advice but we are almost there right now so seeking immediate advice.

Righty tighty/lefty loosey.  Wait to see what ADCO says, some MBs are also silver soldered on.
