Ok, here it goes....
I was putting my new No-ban 6-position collapsible stock on a few days ago and in the process the pin that holds the buffer spring assy back while the rifle is field striped popped straight out. That is it self was not a big deal I removed the old spring and stock and installed the new one. The problem was that after the buffer was re-assembled and the buffer retaining pin in place I pushed back on the buffer and the damn spring pushes the retaining pin straight up! The Pin is no longer 'captive' per say. As long as the buffer spring has tension on the pin its fine but when the buffer spring is compressed ( as it would when the bolt carrier cycles) it pops up.
Any ideas on how to work out this problem?
I don't want to shoot it until I can fix this.
TIA for any help!
