Added question:  Where can you get one?  I have a muzzle device fetish, and I'd like to install a Gemtech flash hider on one of my new builds, maybe my 1/7 middy from giffman................................

TriggerFish, cool pic, is that your weapon?

If so, what are your thoughts on the M4-96D?

The M4-96D is a great can.  GemTech customer service is one of the best in the biz.  The SWR SpecWar2 will also fit on this mount and is considered by many to be a slightly quieter can.

I am a NFA dealer in Houston and currently have a M4-96D in stock.  I also have several other cans inbound from GemTech, SWR and American Manufacturing.

ch139, yes it is.

Ditto to what pazzo said re: M4-96D.  Nothing like FA with a suppressor!

I t went up for the trials for the SOPMOD flash hider / suppressor in a slightly different form and lost to KAC.  Its an excellent choice and gets a 14.5" barrel to 16" but you need to let Gemtech laser weld the flash hider on if you want a valid warranty on your can.  Othe rthan that you must use a high temp sealant on the flash hider and they must install it that way too.

Quick Q: What's the length of the Bi-Lock FS?

***The ol' Mitutoyo says...  2.0475.  Brings a 14.5" M4 type up to 16", sure.  Permanent install is a little laser weld on a blind pin on one of the wrench flats.
