plus the original Bushmasters (rifle and bullpup), the SA80, the Minimi/M249, (more to come, I'm sure).
EDIT: IMBEL MD-2 and -3 FNC and FN2000 FAMAS (the frog rifle) TAVOR SAR-80 and SR-88 XM8 and XM29 I'm wracking my brain, here. Somebody help me out! |

I thought the XM8 used proprietary plastic mags now, right? I remember when it was part of the OICW it didn't, but I could have swore that has since changed. |

Yeah, I think that's how it's going to end up, and God only knows why. At one point it was "configurable" for M16 mags, but why would we want to use what's already in the inventory when we can sell Uncle Sam several million new magazines?

What? I played around with a few different versions of the second generation XM8 last month and it is NOT using M16 magazines. |
