A good friend has two Colt AR-15's that may be for sale he wants to know what they're worth.
The first is a R6830 7.62x39 NIB Colt Sporter and the second is an LEO AR6700 with removeable carry handle bayo lug, high caps and restricted markings.  Its also NIB, let me know what their values are.

*The book I'm reading from is a year old and doesn't take the end of the AWB into account.*

The stated NIB price for the Sporter Match 7.62x39 is, $975

The LEO marked AR becomes a standard Colt rifle. Figure $1,100 - $1,250. Since it is LEO marked, some people are willing to pay more for it. - Depending on how Colt handles its sales to "civilians" in the future, the value could increase.

It is a buyers/sellers market. Many people will pay whatever it is advertised for, simply because they don't know any better and the demand is there.

Add $12-$25 per mag.
