We all know that the ban was BS but I think a reminder about how we portray ourselves to the public would be pertinent about now.  I'm all about hi-cap mags/drums/flash-hiders/bayo-lugs, etc. but a very large % of the public who can and do sway/determine votes on this and future issues don't share my/our enthusiasm about such things and actually find most of them "scary".  

We should keep our cards close to our chest in most situations (i.e. outside of this board/around uneducated individuals) and really press our politicians to keep this ban from coming back!!!!  If we don't, this will be a very temporary "buying spree" in the big picture....

I agree.  Im guessing the guns we buy during this period without the ban will all be legal IF the ban comes back???  If so, i think i'll talk my ol man into buying a AR for himself.

And another question, Im guessing the things you would want to have on the gun during this time would be the things that used to be illegal.  Such as the collapsable (Sp) stock, flash hider, 30 rd clips?
