Hello one and all . . .

Well . .  I installed a new EOTech sight on my new A3 and want to try it out tomorrow.

I've never used a sight-system such as this -- so how do I use it ? ?

Do I just "look thru the glass and squeeze" or do I need to line up front sight ? ?

Rear sight ? ?

What do they  mean when they say "co-witness" ? ?

Most shooting will be done at 100 yards or a little less.

So . . . . any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks  ! !

If the sight is zeroed properly...the red dot is where the bullet goes.  It is parallax-free, which means if you can see the dot you can aim the weapon.  The iron sights are only a back-up for the EOTech.  If they co-witness, the sights can be employed through the optic's window.

Thank you gentlemen . . .

Will try out this new EOTech tomorrow and will post my results.

Mounted on a A3 carbine, standard front sight tower and the BUIS is a ARMS 40.

Thanks again . . . .
