Question regarding a HBAR and attatching a flash hider.  Will the whole barrel have to be turned down or can i just have the barrel threaded and add the hider.  I dont want the barrel to be fatter than the hider and figured you guys would know.

Thanks

Barrel is the same size or larger in all respects, it is not normal to turn it down when threading, except where the threads go.

What i am wondering will it look normal with a flash hider and an HBAR or do i need to purchase a standard size barrel and then add the hider for cosmetic reasons.  I know it will fit once its threaded but will it look ok.

The hider will look fine. Govt profile bbls. are smaller diameter UNDER the handguard. From the FSB forward, HBAR and Govt. profile are the same size.

When you say Gov't  profile, I assume you mean the Gov't carbine lt  bbl. It  has a smaller profile
all the way up to the FH. Looks alot like a SP1 bbl. The profile is smaller then the A2FH, with a HBAR it is close to the same and
looks better IMO.
