Ammo info needed! Help!

What is the best for CQB and out to 100 meters?Is there any Ammo you could recommand for this applacation? Not ever body can afford to buy a case of the 77gr. OTM nato round that georgia percision is selling and i know that is the best. So give me some ideas of the best that is avaliable on the market that can be bought by the box instead of the case. Thanks in advance

This ammo will be used in a Colt A2 with 16" barrel 1/7 twist.

Check the ammo oracle like Lon said.... but basically stick with xm193 or q3131a (basically GI 55gr).

The ammo oracle is a great source of info. Do take some time and read it. Then read it again. However, as was already mentioned, a good M193 or M855 round is tough to beat. I shoot and stash Winchester Q3131A for my 55-grain M193 ammo. It is made by IMI for Winchester.

For M855 I prefer the IMI stuff. Wonderful stuff, but more expensive than M193. For your typical zombie horde, the Q3131A will work just fine.

I strongly recommend against this round for any defensive/duty use. It has reduced penetration against STEEL (it's designed not to damage pistol-rated backstops in indoor ranges), but is an exceedingly poor performer from a terminal ballistics vs. humans perspective. It is also not as "interior wall friendly" as you might believe, unless your walls are steel plate.
