Hey all, I've been floating around here and you guys are contagious.......I finally took the plunge, and purchased a lightly used..Bushmaster A2 16in Carbine from a board member and was wondering if my purchase was a wise one?

Since acquiring the AR I've already installed my YHM FF 4-rail forgrip, and TGS Aimpoint clone. Have my 6 POS RRA ready to mount once the ban is kaput!

I am thinking of changing the upper to either an RRA, or LAR flattop upper. I would also like to get a smaller profile barrel, I currently have the 16" HBAR and would like some recommendations. I really like the thinner stepped barrels and the Y-comp

Thanks, and I look forward to some good conversations.

Rob

You have been assimilated.

Just go buy a complete lower and then start saving for the upper of your choice.  With all the changes, you could almost afford the other upper.  You'll want a couple anyhow.

LOL...I'll get pics ASAP..I was being cautious with my first purchase...I opted for the Bushy because it only had 100 rounds through it, and I got it for $500.....really too low to pass up for a learner..

Y-Comp? What? What?  Sorry, couldn't "hear" you!
I actually have a Y-Comp Bushy M4gery. It does it's job, blasts sand all around, doesn't bother me.
If I could manage to part with the upper for a while, I may send it off to Kurt's for some cosmetic surgery.

if you want a Y comp I might be tempted into parting with a Bushmaster M4 upper with the Y comp on it once the ban sunsets. Lemme know...
