I have a BM Patrolman's Carbine barrel sitting on my front porch (UPS tracking - you gotta love it!) and was considering installing a Phantom instead of the A2 FS but thought it might look funny; i.e too long.  Anybody have one on their 16 inch barrel and still thinks it looks acceptable?

not a very good picture and hunt101 is down so i can't put any others up right now.  it looks fine but it would look better if it had an OAL of 16".  My barrel is a 16" pencil barrel from a preban and it's just a hair smaller in diameter than the FS.    I actually like the look of my old 5.5" FS because it covers up a few inches of the skinny barrel.  I've got two pictures that are pretty good side shots but don't have too much detail.  it looks good overall.

Thanks, all, for the pics.  I've decided to go ahead with the Phantom.

Got one on my SP-1 CAR-15 pencil, it looks good (to me at least!). It works even better.

I've got a phantom on a 16" barrel and IMO I think it looks too long. That's why the barrel is going to Adco to be cut and phantom permanently installed.
