does anyone make a discrete weapons case that will hold an m4 (while broken down) that either is or looks like a regular briefcase? Sort of like those soft padded discrete cases but rigid like an attache case? I would pay good money for one.

You could:

1) Buy an attache case
2) Cut some foam to fit
3) ???
4) PROFIT!

A standard attache case is about 18" across.
An M4 upper will not fit into it.

UNLESS you have an MGI QCB upper receiver which will let you quickly remove/replace the barrel, and the whole thing will then fit right into an attache case, as long as you use the 14.5" or 11.5" barrels.
